ROY-G-BIV is the acronym for the first letters of the color words in the order in which they appear in a rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.
The first colors of the rainbow worksheet is a blank rainbow to color in the correct order. The second worksheet has the color words written in the correct row to help your kiddos work on sight-reading color words. Finally, the third worksheet has the acronym ROY-G-BIV for your children who are able to write in the color words in order before they color the rainbow and clouds. Plus a bonus set of rainbow stripes to practice cutting skills in straight and curved lines. After cutting out the colored stripes, your child can practice putting them in the correct ROY-G-BIV order.
